Dear Family and Friends of Central School District,
Technology has changed nearly every aspect of our daily lives and has revolutionized education.
Technology plays an integral role, and it is a powerful resource that supports teaching and
learning. In alignment with the Central School District’s (CSD) mission and our commitment to
excellence, I am pleased to present our District’s Technology Plan. The plan is based on national
research data on emerging technology trends, the diligent work of our educational technology
committee, stakeholder surveys, and the State of New York Department of Education
Technology guidelines as defined by the commissioner’s mandate. CSD is dedicated to ensuring
all students are equipped with the skills needed for their future in the 21st century. The district is
prepared to meet the challenges and maintain a secure learning environment for our students. We
are hopeful this plan is helpful and reassuring.
