Data Screening used for this assignment was divided into categories including gender, race,
depression, and RSS-total from the dataset. Frequency tables were established for all four
variables, which incorporated two quantitative and two categorical variables, demonstrated in
figures 1-4. The frequency tables show more male (n=704) applicants than female (n=596),
established in table 1. The histogram presented that depression stood a positive slant,
representing the contributors having lower results of depression indicators (figure 1). Reviewing
the histogram showed a bimodal distribution for the RSS total of applicants, underlining that
some accommodations emerge more frequently than others, which was not typically scattered, as
demonstrated in Figure 2. Box plot was designed for categorical adaptability of gender and race
to evaluate the circulation of the total amount of the quantitative variables of DASS-depression
and the RSS-total (figure 3-6). No outliners were demonstrated in the dataset for DASS-
depression and RSS-total in gender and race. Projecting the dataset contained bar graphs, which
proved a visual change of date between gender and race (7-8). Scatter plots incorporated the
screening process to influence an optical link of the connection between DASS-depression and
RSS-Total; the scatter plot suggested a positive relationship between the variables.
