Abstract
The philosophy of education I have chosen is that all persons have a right to learn and get an
education that will help them to become active and effective members in society. In order to

become contributing members to society, one must learn not only the basics, such as reading,
writing, math, science, history, foreign language, and language arts; but one must also learn
morals and how to appropriately act. All of these disciplines can be taught and observed in the
school setting. Instructional practice must be strategically planned in order to teach students in
the most effective way. lessons should be clear, coherent, and taught in a way that promotes
understanding to the learners. In order to teach students in a way they will understand, teachers
must create fun, engaging, interesting lessons that are to be taught in a warm, trusting, and caring
environment that fosters education and growth.
The purpose of having a philosophy of education is to help guide teaching professionals,
so that they may develop the best lessons and teaching strategies in order for their students to
