Biblical Worldview Paper
While not all students will have the same religious beliefs and upbringings, a biblical
worldview with its all-embracing perspective of the world in accordance with the bible in
partnership with a Christian philosophy of education should purposefully nurture and foster an
educational approach where the students are able to develop an awareness that promotes biblical
principles to bring glory to God the Father. The maturation of one’s biblical worldview is the
objective of a proper Christian education and living and producing the fruit of the Spirit will
demonstrate a walk with God to help students develop their biblical worldview.
Biblical Worldview
An individual’s worldview is established in childhood and continues to expand and
evolve as they grow older. There is a combination of components, for example, life and family
events, one’s culture and ethnicity, and their education and rearing, which can influence how a
person views the world around them (Van der Walt, 2017). A person’s view of life and the world
in which they live molds what that individual holds dear and values, which impacts directly their
demeanor and disposition. At the center of a person’s biblical worldview is the fundamental
certainty that God's Word is infallible (Tackett, 2006). Some main components of a Christian
worldview are the belief that the Word of God and its origin are absolutely true. Evidence of this
can be read in 2 Timothy 3:16 ( , 2011) “All Scripture is God- New International Version
breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,”. Another
is that the Lord God created everything and from Him alone, everything was created (Van der
Walt, 2017). The evangelist John wrote about God’s creation in John 1:3 (New International
