Summary Content
Everyone learns the same material, but their approaches to learning and thinking are
never the same. From their learning experience, they are able to enhance their knowledge and
gain new perspectives. "So teach us to number our days, that we may get a heart of wisdom"
(English Standard Version, 2001, Psalm 90:12).
I had an excellent time in the EDEC 653 course. I had some initial nervousness about the
amount of coursework, but it soon subsided as I started turning in the assignments. I wasn't
initially thrilled about this course because it was the first that required buying a book. After I
actually bought the book and started writing my discussion pieces, I discovered that every
situation was engaging and offered a unique opportunity for learning. I learned how to respond to
and recognize various circumstances from the scenarios. My enhanced grasp of teaching and the
deep ideas of early development has been really beneficial, thanks to the case studies and
publications. I believe that I have gained more information since beginning this course.
