The sex of the assessment participants is three females and three males.
The assessment participants ranged in age from 21 to 52 and the average age was 30.
The education level of the assessment participants is:
High school graduate = Two
Some college = One
College graduate = Three
All assessment participants live in the greater Charlotte, NC Metropolitan area.
All assessment participants did not attend the same church.
The purpose of this assessment was to evaluate the characteristics or marks of a disciple by
assessing the responses of six participants who are believers of Jesus. The total assessment
included five characteristics or marks that should be present or evidenced in a disciple.

For each characteristic listed in the assessment, there are five or more corresponding
Likert scale questions related to that characteristic for the respondent to answer. There is a
possible 25 or 30 points for each characteristic listed. Each individual answer is worth up to
five points with points ranging from one through five per question and answer. An average of
each characteristic is calculated to determine the average total points for each characteristic.
The average points for the entire assessment will be calculated as well.
