REFERRAL QUESTION/REASON FOR TESTING:
Ms. Manucy was referred by Liberty University for an evaluation concerning the appropriateness
of her selection for the position of Resident Assistant (RA). This position extends the length of
the academic school year and requires the student to live in the campus dormitories. The student
must be enrolled full time and maintain a 2.5 GPA or above with no documented conduct issues.
The student must share a relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrate themselves as such
when working and engaging with their fellow students who reside in the dormitory. Additionally,
the student must not engage in other extracurricular activities if they pose a conflict with the
assumed RA duties.

EXAMINEE BACKGROUND:
Ms. Manucy, a 23-year-old, single Caucasian female, currently attends Liberty University full
time pursing a law degree while also working part time at a law firm. She is an only child and
spent the first 5 years of her life living in a dual parent household until her father’s passing. She
then was raised in a single parent household until the age of 12 and adopted by her stepfather at
the age of 16. She is of average height and weight, with a slim athletic build. She maintains her
appearance and presents herself in a neat and clean fashion. She quickly rectified any personal
article that fell out of place. She is detail oriented and structures the entirety of her life through
to-do lists, a planner, and various rigid routines. Ms. Manucy initially spoke with hesitation and
limited expression however, over time she softened her expression and inflection, and began
sharing items related to her more sensitive thoughts and feelings.
Her friend group extends out to only a few people as she is highly involved in her academic
work, and it takes up the majority of her time. Others have expressed to her that they believe she
is “OCD”, cold, and dismissive. Ms. Manucy believes they feel this way about her because of
strict routine and forward-thinking mindset. Although this upsets her, she prides herself in her
ability to achieve the goals she sets out for herself especially when they are viewed as
