Summary
Models are the concepts we as people use in our daily lives. The use of symbols,
numbers, letters, and more all incorporate the use of a model to relay information from one
person to another. Christian and psychological principles follow the same examples. Models
make up the fundamental ideas and core beliefs of the principles and each model discusses the
relationship between psychology and theology. Entwistle explains other models like enemies,
Spies, Colonialists, Rebuilders, Neutral Parties, and Allies. Enemies see the two as opposing
forces. Spies use pieces of theology to benefit psychological well-being. Colonialists use
psychology to enhance pieces of scripture and Biblical principles, but do not have an interest in
a deeper knowledge of psychology. Rebuilders want psychology to go back to its philosophical
