Organization: Problem-Cause-Solution pattern
Audience analysis: Despite differences in our backgrounds, we are all made in
God’s image and likeness and he established man’s dominion
over all the earth (Genesis 1:26). I appeal to every human
steward of God.
Topic: The Earth is aging; the climate has caused significant changes
in our planet brought about by man-made destructions. We
committed sins, violated environmental rights, and now, our
lives and the generations to come are affected and threatened
more than ever.
General Goal: To persuade my audience to redeem God’s creation, our planet
from human exploitative activities in response to this
presentation on global climate change and its irreversible
effects.
Specific Goal: I want to inform my audience about the social problem of
climate change and persuade them that letting Christ God into
our lives, and embody Him in everything we do is a good
solution for this problem for several reasons, one of which is
that this solution, will promote deeper faith in him, care for our
only one planet, and love for its people which is something that
God values according to Scripture.
I. Get Attention

quote, "Laudato Si" (“Pope Francis Joins Climate Fight | UNFCCC”).

that we should keep in mind to address climate issues lie in the Bible. The
scriptures are, without a doubt, one of the most important resources for
understanding and providing the solution to climate change. Throughout
history, the man had sinned are committing sins. But the good news is: we

should not live in fear or anxiety as we take steps together toward being good
stewards of His creation.
II. Establish Relevance
It's undeniable: climate change is happening, and we need to address it
immediately. Climate Change as defined by the National Aeronautics and
Space Administration (NASA) is the change of the usual weather found in a
place including the change in annual rainfall, temperature, and weather
patterns for months or seasons. Usually characterized by an increase in
temperature, stronger winds, and storms than ever before as its indicators,
climate change has been a global problem. Experts found out that Earth’s
climate is getting warmer and warmer each year. It has a great impact on
human lives, lifestyles, and biodiversity. The planet is warming, ice caps are
