As I continue to learn more about God's ministry, I am quickly gaining a better
understanding of my ignorance. It is very interesting to see how God's ministry is
broken down into three separate areas. While all Christians are called to minister
God’s word, only a select handful are chosen to preach his gospel and do certain
tasks. While it is a privilege and an honor to be a part of such a select group, it
has been interesting to see how different and similar we all are. Looking at
everyone's testimonies and seeing how we all walked different paths, yet we got
to the same destination has been quite inspiring.
When it comes to operating within God's ministry, I too believe it is normal to
question God at times. Particularly when it comes to the calling itself, it is natural
for us to doubt our own ability and God's reasoning for choosing us. I agree with
you that we need to be sure before accepting the call to ministry. It is not the kind
of position you can walk away from easily which is why, before accepting, one
must be sure of such a lifetime commitment (Luke 9:62)[1].
