If you’re looking to grow in biblical counseling, consider becoming a member of the
Association of Biblical Counseling for resources, training and more!
If you’re interested in growing in biblical counseling, consider becoming a member of the
Association of Biblical Counseling today!
The Association of Biblical Counselors exists to encourage, equip and enlist all believers
everywhere to live and counsel the Word, applying the Gospel to the whole experience of life.
What began in 2005 as a basic website to serve several dozen members has grown to serve
several thousand pastors, ministry leaders, licensed professionals and parishioners, both
nationally and internationally, by providing ongoing counseling training, resources and more!
There are many approaches to counseling within Christianity. Within the Association of
Biblical Counselors, our particular approach will emphasize a robust theology of care stressing
the roles of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the transformation process. We seek to draw
from God’s special revelation – the Bible – to build a model of counseling wherein constructs
such as justification, sanctification, glorification, sin, depravity, and grace (to name a few) are
practically applied.
Who Should Join ABC?
All believers who are committed to sound counsel from the Word in their own lives and
as they minister to others.
Pastor and people in ministry who are interested in providing biblical counsel.
Licensed counselors who are committed to biblical counseling.
Anyone interested in better understanding themselves and others.
Our ministry is structured in such a way that a broad spectrum of members may be well
served. Whether you are a licensed professional seeking a deeper specialization in applying the
Bible in your practice, a pastor seeking to connect your theological understanding with your
role as shepherd and counselor, or a church parishioner or ministry leader longing to fulfill your
call to “make disciples,” ABC has created specific resources to meet each of these unique
positions within the Body of Christ.
