The analysis of variance is used to determine whether there exist differences between
several independent variables with one dependent variable. The assumptions made for this test is
that the dependent variable is normally distributed, there are equal variances in all the
observations, and the predictor variables are independent of each other (Morgan et al., 2013).
The following are the One-way ANOVA results where the response variable is father’s
education while the independent variables are maths achievement tests, grades in high school,
and visualization tests scores;
