Abstract
Individual and group decision processes and decisions, the strategy development and execution
process, and individual qualifications are critical to success in strategy development and
execution. Effective individual and group decision processes help individuals and groups often
make effective organizational decisions. Effective decision processes help ensure that individual
and group strategy development and execution decisions are beneficial to organizations. New
best practices in strategic management often arise due to the findings of reliable studies or
lessons learned from practicing strategic management. The two newest directions in strategy
development and execution are incorporating ethics and corporate sustainability in the process.
New directions in the strategy development and execution process are aimed at enhancing the
process. Academic qualifications are among the qualifications that can lead to success in strategy
development and execution. My academic discipline has imparted critical knowledge to me that
would positively influence my strategy development and execution performance.
