Effective Execution of Strategy, Power of Design Versus Power of Focus, and Decision
Traps
Introduction
The effective execution of business strategies requires the most appropriate processes.
While executing the strategies, the power of focus and the power of strategy are some of the
factors that should be considered. Decision traps can lead to the decline of a business
organization and therefore should be avoided. The discussion looks at the process of effectively
executing a strategy, the power of design and the power of focus, and the major decision traps
that should be avoided.
Process: Effective Execution of Strategy
Business organizations first visualize the strategy to determine its most essential elements
and their relationship to each other. Visualization can be done by the use of illustrations.
Performance measurement is done on the major elements of the strategy. Effective
communication of the strategy to employees will help them understand what needs to be done
and why (Gamble et al., 2013). Engagement will also be improved. A regular review of the
strategy is done to compare the results produced by the strategy to the expected outcomes.
