HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT RESPONSE 2
I strongly agree with the take portrayed in the discussion in the relationship between
Kellers big picture of thinking and the role of human resource development. Keller is keen to
describe that the work that humanity involves themselves in should have a direct link to the
reward rather than doing it for just survival (Keller & Alsdorf, 2012). By such a case, workers
should have a tie of happiness between what they do and the reward they get from it. In this case,
institutions need to incorporate the provision of a talent management department to help in the
development if intrinsic reward systems with their human resource elements (Albrecht et al.,
2015).
As an additional point of merit, the discussion has linked Keller’s picture to God's work
of creation. God sets the example by showing love and care for his creation. In this case, He
created Eve to help Adam and gave them a cultivated garden from which they would obtain
food. Keller describes Gods creation in six days after which humankind was given the
responsibility to develop and grow the earth. God gave men the ability to cultivate and take care
of God’s creation
From such kind of discussion, the aspects of human resource development have been split
down to easily understandable points. These provisions are also linked to different models
working similar manner. The traditional model, for instance, is vital in helping institutions
analyze their environments to detect threats and opportunities (Mello, 2019. The process of
making goals, objectives, and targets in organizations also goes hand in hand with human
resource development. Human resource plays a vital role in determining the success or failure of
an institution. It is therefore essential to adopt this element in a positive and well-informed
perspective.
