Recruitment
Recruitment is one of the core functions of Human Resource Department (Ghani&
Memon, 2020). However, I recommend that Human Resource Department be in a position to
carry out selective recruitment processes to come up with the right people. Keller (2012)
mandates that we should connect our work to that of God. Therefore, selective hiring by ensuring
that we have selected the right people for the job will ensure that companies have the best talent
that carry out their business processes.
We are mandated to view our vocations as service to God. By human resource
departments carrying out selective hiring, they can ensure that they have selected people who are
qualified for the job and this works to promote doing God’s work using our daily vacations.
Organizations that have resourceful employees have a competitive advantage against their
industry rivals because such job satisfaction levels lead to delivery of quality output from the
workforces.
Training in Relevant Skills
Another recommendation that I would suggest to human resource Department is talent
management. Employers should also view their vocations as avenues for reflecting God’s work
on earth and making it a better place (Hardy, 1990). This mandates us to develop strategies
together for the well-being of employees. Human resource departments should take the interests
of employees at heart, and talent management is one way through it they show for concern of
employees can be achieved.
Ensuring that employees have been trained in the relevant skill, they are able to advance
in their careers because of increased knowledge (Bagdadli & Gianecchini, 2019). By developing

practices such as job rotation, human resource departments can ensure they have provided for the
needs of employees within an organization therefore continuing God’s good work through their
vacations. Training in relevant skill also makes a company continue to reach its objectives of
business because it increases the resourcefulness of its employees (Valentine, 2020).
Security to Employees
Another recommendation for human resource Department is providing security for its
employees. Security can be in the form of providing insurance for them and their children and
preventing them against discrimination while in the workplace. Employees should be protected
from both work and non-work stressors that may work to reduce their output. By ensuring that
we have provided security for employees, we show concern for their well-being.
This move is a way of using our vacation to show the virtues of Christianity, thereby
developing theological human resource practices. By providing for the needs of the employees in
the organization, such employees will remain motivated and committed towards performing
business processes of an organization (Valentine, 2020). In turn, this will allow the business to
be efficient in all its operations. The business will also be able to achieve its prior set objectives
while at the same time taking care of its employees.
