Abstract
It should be all manager’ concern to see their employees doing good. Especially where
they are striving for knowledge and it might be beneficial to the company. Every employee wants
to know how they are doing and how their work contributes to the overall success of the
organization. Goal – setting as a mechanism is used for providing ongoing feedback and
performance evaluation.
“For goal to be achievable and become meaningful to employees, they must feel some
sense of belonging and responsibility. When this is achieved, employees put in their best to
ensure that the job is complete and that organizational goals are achieved with little or no
supervision”, (Zhang, Y., Zhang, J., Forest, J., & Chen, C. 2018).
Introduction
The major organization strategies that can increase organizational productions as well as
employees’ performances is supporting employees’ goals. When organization supports
employee’s goals, it helps to encourage and improve employee’s performance and helps to retain
their loyalty to achieving the goals and aspirations of the organization. When employees excel in
their position and their personal educational pursuit, it is only prudent that they are rewarded
