This study offers a theoretical justification for the strategic and structural alterations in
US omnichannel retail supply chains. The study uses longitudinal data to show changes
in retailers' supply chain plans, particularly regarding order fulfillment. It also explains
how and why these shifts took place. In this study, the business model change of the
omnichannel order fulfillment process is explained via the lens of process theory.
Multicase longitudinal research with six significant US retailers was carried out
over ten years using a case study methodology. The previous 10 to 15 years have seen a
substantial change in merchants' logistics and delivery practices. The authors use a multi-
method viewpoint to clarify why and how retailers have combined their channels to
succeed in omnichannel at the store level.

This study aims to pinpoint the elements influencing customer adoption and use of 3DP
technology. This study casts doubt on conventional supply chain and logistics knowledge.
In an era of quick technological advancement, Toffler's (1981) prosumers may
revolutionize everything, from repurposing old things using 3DP to creating specialized
custom goods. Contrary to the majority of the existing literature on 3DP in manufacturing

and logistics, this study examines an issue from the consumer perspective to shed light on
one generally looked at from an operations management angle.
Businesses must identify the elements that impact customer presumption to
develop the most influential supply chains and business models due to the rising number
of 3DP service centers, moderately cost 3D printers and online platforms that allow users
to design and print products at home.

This article's main objective is to present new and old metrics that retailers and suppliers
should keep an eye on and the theoretical and empirical data that academic researchers
should include in models—an overview of the metrics pertinent to each primary
distribution management architecture component. Then, we list some of the issues that
we think multi- and omnichannel marketers are facing, direct the reader to the relevant
academic research, and offer suggestions on how future research may expand on our
framework and metrics to augment what is known address what is unknown.
This article examines suppliers' viewpoints on who sells their goods to customers
through company-owned and independent retail channels. It is now crucial for suppliers
to consider the consequences of their multichannel management procedures as their
downstream retail partners' omnichannel activities have grown. To complement how
consumers want to browse, buy, and return, they must integrate, manage, and reward
various channels. They must also do this across numerous independent retailers, not
simply within one business.

The purpose of this article is to analyze truck platooning's planning phase in more
detail, focusing on exploring the possibilities in terms of profitability and fuel economy.
The analysis is conducted by considering a cooperative platooning system in which a
platooning service provider coordinates the pairing of trucks. Platoon formation is
thought to occur at platooning nodes around the freeway network that are carefully
located.
The paper offers specific observations, a general conclusion, and various
experiments for a wide range of input values. The paper's purposeful goal is to provide an
illustrative upper bound on the platooning possibilities when using an orchestrated hub
design. Because all trucks, regardless of make, mode of transportation, etc., are expected
to work together, the profitability is overstated. Consequently, there may be any
constraints brought on by by-laws and technological constraints.

This article aims to emphasize the consequences of implementing an intelligent pedelec-
sharing scheme on using the service (by assessing the relationship between intention-to-
use and actual use), factors that can persuade nonusers to become users, and effects on
mobility patterns. Bike-sharing has boosted mobility (total number and distance of trips),
especially in active travel. Still, according to indicators on mobility patterns, it has also

cut perceived travel time, demonstrating that it predominantly draws from other
sustainable means of transportation. Demand side research themes have grown in
sophistication in many cities, encompassing not just user traits and preferences but also

aid of cutting-edge research techniques that combine cycling designs, socioeconomic
data, and users' past travel behavior as a result of bike sharing. More profound knowledge
of the user and nonuser profiles and changes in travel behavior would be made possible
by this kind of research.

The effectiveness of carsharing systems with traditional and alternative vehicles was
evaluated in this study using a cost-benefit analysis method that considered both the
financial costs and environmental advantages for the various stakeholders. The technique
was used on simulated mobility data for the Lisbon, Portugal, case study.
This is how the paper is structured. An analysis of the literature on this subject is
first in order. The agent-based model for the case-study city and the CBA approach is
then described. The experiments performed on the case study will then be presented,
together with all the results, in the following section. In addition, an examination of other
policy scenarios for various carsharing system configurations will also be included. The
paper that consists of the key findings from this effort is the last.
