Abstract
Thailand is a country rich in culture with an astoundingly different way of life than that of
America. Because of this vast difference, international managers must take special care and
understanding in how the people of the country work and live. This paper discusses the country
of Thailand as it pertains to international businesses and the implications that Thai culture has for
United States managers. This paper provides an in-depth discussion about the various
international forces that are important in doing business with Thailand. Finally, this paper
discusses how these forces of business pertain to managers from the United States and how
managers can use an integration of faith to operate well with Thailand.

Operating a business comes with many challenges that require many different areas of
knowledge and understanding. Operating an international business comes with even more of
these areas. Operating at the international level requires that managers understand the countries
they are doing business with and cater business dealings according to a host nation’s ways of
operating. Just as the United States has its own way of doing things, many other countries have
unique ideas and ways of going about business that must be taken into account when cooperating
