A Hofstede analysis between the United States and Germany shows distinct differences
and similarities. The cultural difference impacts the way these countries do business. Both
nations score highly on masculinity, individualism, and power distance. However, Germany and
United States sow distinct differences. These countries differ in long-term orientation,
indulgence, and uncertainty avoidance dimensions. United States businesses operating in
Germany must create an environment that aligns itself with the host cultural practices to achieve
success. These businesses must create environments that support masculinity, individualism, and
power distance. Also, they should revise their policies to reflect the culture in Germany based on
the long-term orientation, indulgence, and uncertainty avoidance dimensions. This paper does a
