Studies have revealed that not many organizations can utilize information systems and
technology in the spectrum of business Kavita & Vaishali, 2019). Whether considering (
organization, products, or processes, there are usually critical factors contributing to their
success. For any entity to be very successful, it must establish the existing critical success factors
(CSFs) in its various dynamics (Alreemy et al., 2016). Many organizations or businesses have
failed to thrive in the market since they have not established adequate strategies to establish the
CSFs (Alreemy et al., 2016). The CSFs usually take different dimensions, i.e., they may run an
organization, process, or product. For many organizations, success usually considers the
capability of having market intelligence, retaining competent employees, the quality of
conformity, or service standards (Marzagão & 2016). Generally, for an organization of a
company to be successful, it must clearly define its CSFs. The study will use SWOT analysis to
clarify and aid in identifying CSFs for Sedibeng Breweries Company.
Sedibeng company is a medium-sized business situated in the growing industrial center

new in the market. The company's craft beers are traditionally brewed and are targeted on the
white-collar and working class in the country. The company culture has helped secure its
primary market: consistent quality branding, traditional brew recipes, and its commitment to
distribute its products in the rural.
Identifying CSFs for Sedibeng company is very critical in formulating adequate strategic
business plans for the company. By identifying and communicating CSFs, the company will
ensure that its projects are well-focused and avoid wasting effort and resources on less
significant areas. Again, by making CSFs explicit and communicating them with the company's

key stakeholders and everyone involved, the company will be able to keep the project on course
towards the established goals and aims.
Even though several models can be employed to identify the CSFs, it takes a lot of
professionalism to succeed in this context (Alreemy et al., 2016). Some of the existing models
may not just adequately help to identify the CSFs for the company. The existing models used to
identify CSFs include PEST analysis and SWOT analysis. PEST (Political, Economic, Social,
and Technological) analysis is a model used to measure market while SWOT (Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) model is applied when measuring a business (Foong,
