Angel, I love reading your discussion post. I think your ideas to keep the company’s cash flow
are great. One alternative would be securing loans. For success to occur, the CFO must
understand how to quantify risk and how risk influences the cost of capital (Brealey et al., 2023).
Short-term cash flow issues may necessitate a business taking out a loan from a financial
institution. Such examples include revolving credit lines and equity loans. Most of the time, this
sort of borrowing achieves its goals; nevertheless, during the financial crisis, several banks
canceled credit lines and called in debts. Another alternative is a long-term amortized loan,
which includes both interest and principal until the loan is paid off. Stakeholders have a vested
interest in the project, and we will find ourselves dealing with them in a variety of ways on an
almost daily basis. Keeping our stakeholders satisfied is critical, not only for our piece of mind
but also for the overall success of our project. Communication is an essential ability for a project
manager, and if we are unable to convey the progress and performance of important areas in our
project to the right stakeholders regularly basis, we will discover that they are not happy bunch.
Dedicate ourselves to keeping all relevant stakeholders up to date on critical milestones,
progress, and outcomes. The function of management in managing company cash is critical,
because every company requires finances or working capital to support its operational activities
and grow its business (Asikin, et al., 2021). In the Bible, the verse, “Therefore each of you must
put off falsehood and speak truthfullyto your neighbor, for we are all members of one body”
(New Living Translation, 1973/2011, Ephesians 4:25), emphasizes and commands us to be
truthful in our speech.
