Abstract
Working in a large industry such as the healthcare industry requires
one to work with people of all different personality types. Personality
differences are inevitable and some personalities work well with other types
while others may not. Personality types is also a strong indicator of the type
of person you may be, the characteristics you exhibit and the industry you
make be most effective in as a career path. The goal is to find a healthy
balance into which all personalities can work together effectively and
efficiently to achieve the expected goal and make the workplace an
environment that is pleasurable for all. The scripture gives us clear guidance
as to how to handle different personality types it is our job to seek out that
knowledge. We all understand that personalities can and will have a
significant impact on the workplace behavior but how do we address those
behaviors? On the other hand it is important to understand that different
personalities are necessary to get the job done. There is significant value in
working with other personality types as each personality provides a specific
attribute needed to have a diverse team and achieve the specific outcome
desired. All in all, it is vital for all individuals to know and understand their
personality type as it will help address topics related to communication,
performance, management, and team processes within the workplace.
