Personal experience definitively demonstrates that there is a progression to being ruder in
bother personal and professional interactions in the United States. This is primarily denoted in
the business environment because the standard of expectation for cordial interaction has
remained steady while people’s actions have become progressively less appropriate.
Additionally, the occurrence of rude interactions seems to have dramatically increased, revealing
that the cause may be compounding the effect it has in the business environment. While there
are exceptions in various business entities, overall this seems to be the rule. These rude
