Introduction`
This study investigates the characteristics of medication errors made by student nursing

improved service delivery to patients. The study will showcase student nurses' overall errors

medication errors is distractions in the workplace, which may contribute to disoriented
concentration. The Lean Six Sigma method will be utilized in this descriptive research (George
et al., 2005).

streamlined, hence identifying the defects that can be eliminated (George et al., 2005). The
methods are intensively applied in medical research because numerous medical errors have
significant implications, especially to patients, hence causing death adverse effects such as
morbidity and mortality. The problem solve begins by determining the problem, which is the
medical errors made by student nurses. The other problem is that the RN nurse is aware of these
errors and has not acted upon them to improve emergency rooms' efficiency.
The measurement of the problem will be done by ascertaining whether the managers and
the nurses in charge of the nursing students know the medical errors (George et al., 2005; Hall &
Scott, 2016). The extent of the harm will be determined by checking and estimating the nursing
students' total medical errors over time. The errors will be showcased in terms of distribution
over time while identifying the specific students responsible and the supervisors. Here, the

confirmation is made on the student nurses' total medication errors, which implies that this is the
bottleneck of the emergency room operations. Medical errors are major causes of adverse effects
that are harmful to the patients, which implies that this problem should be handled immediately.4
The most appropriate way to deal with this situation using the lean six sigma method is to
identify areas of improvement on the issue (Hall & Scott, 2016). The nursing students will be
subjected to intensified capacity building to enhance their medication skills to avoid risking the
patients' safety. Subsequent training will follow to ensure that the medical students are at per

also giving expert care to the patients. The nursing supervisors will also be required to improve
their monitoring procedure to ensure that all the staff works effectively to improve patient care

However, this study's realization of these errors formed a blueprint for improving current and
future patient care. Optimization of the existing system is essential instead of dismantling the
existing processes. The lean six sigma method is a practical problem-solving technique to ensure
continuity of healthcare settings.4
