RESEARCH PROJECT TOPIC OVERVIEW
The scenario I am submitting involves the healthcare public safety profession within a large
healthcare organization that provides ambulatory and acute services. My client is a mid-level manager
and struggles with the interpersonal dynamics of his team, along with how to address conflict within the
group. He believes that he is not effective in his role and thinks he could be better if he had more time to
be hands-on. Additionally, he wishes to advance within the organization, but due to the large size of the
organization and his current physical location, he has difficulty creating a network with appropriate
peers and leaders within the organization.
