Critical Analysis
Bartlett (2013) opines that a properly managed database is a cornerstone of competition
for any business. Any organization that desires to survive in a competitive environment using
analytics must have a proper strategy or method to handle data. An appropriate methodology
ensures that the organization omits or bypasses irrelevant and inappropriate data when making
business decisions. Ahmed and Pathan (2019) affirm that data management requires a leader that
guarantees data security by obscuring pertinent and personal information. In addition, Bartlett
(2013) emphasizes the value of a customer-centric database. According to Bartlett, a leader must
identify and understand the customers' needs.
A leader must be well-versed in data analytics to ensure that the interpretation of data
aligns with the coded message/information. Today, cutting-edge technologies and approaches
simplify the process of establishing the quality of data. Bartlett (2013) postulates that
management inspection is one of the best techniques to measure and determine accuracy.
Nevertheless, the large-scale enterprises can adopt an Automatic Software to conduct "sanity
checks against the summary of statistics" (Bartlett, 2013, pg.263).
In the military, leaders rely on data to make logistics decisions. Wang et al. (2018) unveil
that the military has significantly invested adequate resources to enhance the quality and quantity
of available data and submit analytical results to decision-makers. The Army logistics system is a
combination of systems designed to manage the equipment, supplies, procurement, and financial
operations (Wang et al. 2018). Indeed, a decision support system for the logistics department is
designed to assist the leaders and logistics officers in implementing the best logistics decisions

using available data. Some of the decisions can be exceedingly sophisticated and may, therefore,
require voluminous data.
Wang et al. (2018) assert that irrespective of the level upon which the decisions are to be
made, it is usually hard for the decision-makers to implement informed decisions without a data
analytics system. Wang et al. (2018) affirm that logistics decisions affect nearly three-quarters of
the military budget. Therefore, the quality of decisions in the logistics department has a
tremendous effect on the budget. Ahmed and Pathan (2019) acknowledge the significance of
using analytic tools to prevent data errors. There are times that data needs to be patched up to
serve its intended purposes.
The organization should have appropriate tools to repair data and guarantee its accuracy
and value in decision-making. Indeed, as opined by Wang et al. (2019), data management is an
effective methodology used in the military to synthesize large quantities of data and improve the
decision-making process. In his analysis, Bartlett (2013) postulates that the enhancement of data
guarantees the effectiveness and efficacy of the database. Indeed, the most significant data
enhancements include data encyclopedias, data dictionaries, and Variable organizations. Each of
these data enhancement practices plays a fundamental role in streamlining the decision-making
process
Biblical Integration
The parable of the sower is a great lesson that exemplifies the need to connect with
everyone to spread the word of God (Merida et al., 2015). Luke 8: 8, "And other fell on good
ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he
cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." (King James Bible, 2020). Sowers spread their

seeds arbitrarily with the objective that some will grow and flourish and others might die. A
Christian should extend the love of Christ to every person indiscriminately to grow and expand
the Kingdom of God. The database holds all kinds of data, but when making decisions, leaders
should use appropriate tools to find the most accurate data for making quality decisions.
