FAITH INTEGRATION: WISDOM IN BUSINESS ANALYTICS 2
Abstract
The primary similarities among all leadership philosophies are the emphasis on the
development of followers and the importance of the positive moral vision. That is the reason
that Christian leadership must possess both appropriate behaviors for individuals and the
numerous methods of inspiring other individuals. A supportive atmosphere significantly
enhances employees' motivation to generate and execute innovative ideas (Afsar & Waheed Ali
Umrani, 2020). Diverse strategies are implemented by a variety of leadership philosophies to
motivate, inspire, stimulate, or even improve their workforce. Christian leadership and business
analytics are interconnected in order to provide insight and an ethical obligation to clients as
well as staff. This form of leadership necessitates the capacity to approach challenging issues
with a forwardthinking viewpoint and make innovative decisions. The objective of this paper is
to examine the ethical implications of addressing certain challenges that may arise for leaders in
the context of data. The leaders who succeed most are exceptionally cognizant of their own
opinions and values and present themselves with sincerity as their entirely genuine selves.

Wisdom in Business Analytics
Distractions may include extensive data, unethical incentives, and misunderstandings,
which can result in overlooked possibilities. Business analytics allows Christian leaders to
leverage data analytics to improve their managerial abilities and guide organizations. Wisdom,
Christian leadership, and business analytics all have an obvious connection that must be
considered while making educated judgments, particularly in an environment with an
abundance of confusion. (Merida, 2015) recognizes that spiritual development encompasses
wisdom, and leadership is not predicated on innate talent, but rather on a Christian mindset.

Business analysis focuses on data, and the capacity to get significant knowledge from extensive
data sets can determine the achievement of an organization. As observed in the article
authored by (Samson & Bhanugopan, 2022) addressed how professionals in business analytics
and organizational technologies utilize data to create business perspectives that help them
make decisions. It is imperative for Christian leaders to acquire knowledge in business analytics,
as the rationale and significance of this field are equally vital for them and other managers
throughout the companies they manage. As is evident to us from Proverbs “A wise man is
mightier than a strong man, and a man of knowledge than he who has strength” (Proverbs 24:5,
1966, p. 593).
Wisdom’s function in business analytics
Knowledge, comprehension, and wisdom are distinct concepts. The significance of
wisdom in business is characterized by the acquisition of knowledge and facts for effective
decision-making. (Schnegg & Möller, 2022) In a corporate context, wisdom pertains to how
organizational administrators employ business analytics to enhance performance, while also
incorporating the management intent behind extensive data sets to facilitate the decision-
making process. As a Christian leader, gaining understanding in business analytics is crucial in
reaching evidence-driven choices that build a positive working atmosphere. Wisdom is not
merely a body of knowledge; it is a tool that must be employed when making responsible and
moral decisions. Christian leaders are assisted in the resolution of intricate issues, the
prediction regarding potential results, and the formulation of decisions that are consistent with
the organization's objectives and moral principles by wisdom.
As a Christian leader, it is essential to address workplace challenges and foster an
adaptive working atmosphere characterized by transparent communication, knowledge sharing,

and employee empowerment to facilitate collaboration and innovation within a secure setting.
(Camm et al., 2024) discussed the responsibility of managers to plan, coordinate, organize, and
lead their organizations to improved performance through strategic, tactical, and operational
decisions. In the final analysis, managers are obligated to make strategic, tactical, or operational
decisions. In order to ensure that we make ethical and moral decisions, it is incumbent upon us
as Christian leaders to pause and consider. It is crucial to apply the biblical fundamentals when
pursuing wisdom, particularly in the context of decision-making.
Leadership and Empowerment
As we examine leadership and empowerment, it is imperative to consider the future in
order to establish the organization's objectives and vision. Through the consistent provision of a
specific and likely outcome, this is accomplished, thereby motivating and inspiring personnel to
progress. This leadership style empowers the group individuals and the organization by
increasing their awareness of the situation. As (Northouse, 2020) suggests in his writing,
transformational leadership is associated with the utilization of intrinsic motivation and the
development of followers. It prioritizes the development and improvement of team members'
performance, as well as to assist them in achieving their full potential. This entails delegating
authority, distributing resources, and cultivating a culture of innovation and collaboration
(Miller, 2020).
A Christian leader's use of analytics is essential for both their development as
professionals and as individuals while empowering others. Analytics provide Christian leaders
with the resources necessary to make educated choices and address the needs and desires of
their employees at each stage of the leadership and empowerment process. Ultimately,
wisdom is a potent instrument, and individuals who adhere to wise counsel are more likely to

achieve their objectives. As we find in Proverbs, “By wisdom a house is built, and by
understanding it is established” (Proverbs 23:3, 1966, p. 593).
The Significance of Christian Leadership
The manner in which we wish to be remembered as leaders is a critical aspect of our
role. Do we wish to be remembered as a leader who is benevolent or one who is malevolent?
Today, individuals who are courageous enough to assume leadership roles in organizations
encounter substantial obstacles. It is imperative that the environment in which they are a part
guarantees that everyone on staff is adequately recognized for their services to the
organization. Leaders need to inspire their employees by offering them innovative ideas for
dealing with difficulties and capitalizing on potential opportunities. Business analytics provides
Christian leaders with the ability to comprehend their organization and assist others in
identifying solutions to problems that might alternatively be challenging to identify.
(Ecclesiastes, 1966, p. 603) summarizes the value of collaboration and togetherness as follows:
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one
will lift up his fellow: but woe to him who is alone and has not another to lift him up”.
This coalition should include representatives from every department, levels of the
organization, and functions in order to ensure a diverse range of perspectives and talents. The
primary goal of this coalition should be to advocate in a Christ-like manner, acting as agents for
creativity and supporters for principles and objectives connected to change across businesses
(Griffin & Holcomb, 2023). Analytics is a valuable resource for Christian leaders, as it offers
quantifiable insights into the efficiency and efficacy of their business operations (Rhye, 2024). It
is imperative that Christian leaders consider the consequences of what they decide on the

wellbeing of others. Any choice should be considered with the greatest of consideration and
regard for the individual.
Conclusion
As we progress and contemplate our objectives and aspirations as Christian leaders in
our professional lives, we must consistently uphold Christian principles in business analytics and
emphasize the significance of wisdom in this area of expertise. The Bible underscores the
importance of seeking insight via earnest supplication to God. As a Christian leader, it is
essential to uphold exemplary ethical behavior and conduct business activities with
transparency. Business analytics enable Christian leaders to leverage their capabilities to
improve management and guide enterprises. I thought (Rhye, 2024) best stated, as Christian
leaders, we are tasked with utilizing data from analytics and decision-making processes in a
manner that respects God's commandment’s. This paper endeavored to communicate that a
leader is an individual whose mission is to motivate and encourage others, to have a well-
defined objective and a strategy to accomplish it, and to assist and motivate others in their
pursuit of their maximum potential.
