Abstract
There are six different change management images that can be applied to upper leadership roles.
They will be defined as well as compared to each other for their approach to change
management. All of us relate to at least one of these images if not multiple. An employee can
take an assessment to see which of their characteristics match the strongest one. Many
companies, like Sears, may go through a financial crisis and find themselves unable to dig
themselves out of deep holes. Eddie Lampert tried to take care of the financial situation but
found himself overestimating his abilities to save the company. Personal approaches are
discussed to see what could have helped the business survive.

Change Management Image Self Reflection
The six images of change management images are director, navigator, caretaker, coach,
interpreter, and nurturer. The director has the job of steering workers in the direction of the
objectives to achieve while also motivating the reasoning for changes. Navigators manage many
different ongoing tasks while ensuring that goals are met, even during times of change. A
caretaker can refer to the fact that a manager will never have total control for every situation.
