Introduction
Henry Bradtke has completed reading chapters five and six of the assigned reading for
the first two weeks of class in the textbook and has read the assigned articles. He was then asked
to write about the three most important concepts that he had learned from textbook readings,
website, and article readings. The readings covered various organizational management and
leadership topics. The three most important concepts he had learned through these readings were
how to deal with teams, conflict, and motivation. He believes that these concepts are important
because an effective leader needs to build an effective team to accomplish the vision, mission,
and goals of an organization. To build this optimal team the leader must learn to properly
manage conflict that may arise in the work environment and develop their own way to properly
motivate the team they are a part of to accomplish the vision, mission, and goals that has been
envisioned for them to accomplish together.
