Two benets of Part 61 ight training is the exibility in the training
schedule and the "push" for prociency while you're in charge of studying
grounds on your own. For a person who is ready to start ight training but
isn't able to commit to the rigorous and consistent Part 141 schedule, they
have the option of being more exible with their training schedule through
Part 61. Not having stage checks in order to progress, but instead
repeating an area where they are struggling until they get the hang of. This
way of training allows the student to focus on their own in their downtime
on the grounds since their time with their CFI is dedicated to ying. With
the relaxed training could come inconsistent ying, so a student pilot
would also use those extra hours to reach minimums and really hone in on
prociency.
