Response to the Biblical Mandate of Apologetics
The apologetic word originated from a Greek word Apologia, which referred to as
justification of a belief. Christianity is a belief that has faith in the Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ
and the believers have always defended their faiths, as the Bible requires them to do. As the post
reflects on I peter 3:15-16 it states that" but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always
being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in
you; yet to do it with gentleness and respect." The statement is to emphasize that Christians
should always keep their faith high and live according to Christ's way. We also have Isaiah 41:21
it does state that, "Set forth your case, says the LORD; bring your proofs, says the King of
Jacob." All the above verses have a purpose to every believer in the world, and it assists the
believers in keeping focus and exercise and defending their faith in the world. As Christian, we
have no excuses in what we do or in the reasons for defending our faith.
Creation in a biblical term related to God's work, and we believe as Christians that we
made in the image of God. Image refers to the external outlook of an individual that defines how
we act and believe.1 In the book of Genesis chapter 1:27," Let us make man in our image, after
our likeness, rule over the livestock, and overall the earth itself and every creature that crawls
upon it." In verse, we understand God's purpose to human beings as God gave us authority and
expected us to behave just as He does. Moreover, "So God created man in His image; in God He
created him; male and female He created them." The bible verse teaches Christians to defend
their faith because they supposed to behave and act as God does. The creation stage meant to

guide Christians to reflect God's creation to the world by teaching our children and others of
God's word. God gives as authority over other creatures, which is a role every Christians has to
defend. Moreover, the Bible instructs human beings to fill the world, which still part of the
creation process, but we must do that as we continue to spread and defend our faith.
The Bible description of our image with God is perfect evidence that God exists, and we
have to believe in everything he created. If we make in the likeness of God, it means that we
have God inside us, informing of sprit. Our body described since creation as temple God, and for
such Biblical terms, we have to respect what we do and how we behave. The creation of
humankind in God's image had a purpose: to represent Him here on earth and spread his Gospel
around the world. 2Christians have to defend their faith from historical and scientific concepts
that aims to bring a new theory of human being created. Scientists use biological creation
concepts, and historians use the evolution of man under different life stages, which vary to
Christian's concept of creation. Ephesians 5:9 states that "For you were once darkness, but now
you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of the light consists of goodness,
righteousness, and truth." The verse is evidence that God created us, and in his image, which is
light, we are now full of righteousness and goodness, which should also reflect other people.
