Doing things with Intent by using Goals and Objectives.
2/ How was the topic similar to or different than what you expected? What surprised
you?
To be frank, the topic was totally different from what I expected. At first I thought the
Lecture would cover information about the general business classes that we have to take, and
business organizations on-campus. In fact, it turned out to be a different kind of topic. It
was, indeed, really motivated and helpful for me as the lecture reminds me the purpose of
why I am here studying. It reminds me to be present, to study and have fun at the same time.
It reminds me to make think carefully whenever I speak or make a decision.
3/ Would you recommend this lecture other classmate?
I would definitely recommend this lecture to my classmates since the lecture covers a topic
that we rarely have a chance to listen to. We’ve been all so focused on studying, joining
organizations and perhaps we sometimes forget these crucial foundations.
4/ Based on your reflection of the content delivered how will you implement what you
learned from the lecture into your W. P. Carey experience?
Based on the lessons that I learnt from this Lecture, I will be more mindful both in action and
in speaking because they’re the representation of who I am. I will be more cautious in my
decisions and also put more faith in myself and the people. I also learnt that networking is
crucial for every person’s success, especially those who pursue business career. Therefore, to
better networking, I’ll learn to be good listener, to always carry a positive attitude, to be
sincere, mindful, and trustworthy.
