What does cycle time refer to in a production line?

- Ex. Assembly line needs to produce 20 cars in an 8 hour work shift. Cycle time would be
24 minutes per car ((8*60)/100). This means that every car must move through the
assembly line every 4.8 minutes to meet production target and keep up with demand
