Biography
Kendrick Lamar Duckworth was born in Compton, California, in 1987. He grew up in a
neighbourhood plagued by gang violence and severe poverty. Despite these difficulties, Lamar's
gift for narrative and his skill with words helped him become well-known in 2012 with the
release of his debut album, "good kid, m.A.A.d city" (Lamar, 2012). Lamar,2renowned for his
