As a student and in the workplace, you will need to be able to find and use information effectively. This

includes using academic sources to gather information, as well as evaluating the credibility and reliability

of the information you gathered.

Complete Parts 1 and 2 below to demonstrate your ability to find and use information. In Part 1, you will

find and evaluate 2 sources from at least 2 different databases in the University Library, such as

EBSCOhost and ProQuest. In Part 2, you will write a brief 150- to 200-word response describing your

experience using the library databases. This is a required part of the assessment.

After evaluating this source, I can conclude that it is a good source and can be used for a

research assignment as it is current, Relevant, Accurate and has credibility exploring

some valuable information on Cyberbullying on students with learning disabilities with

support from factual, empirical data set.

Part 2: University Library Experience

Navigating through library databases, precisely EBSCOhost and ProQuest, to deliberate on the

research topic of cyberbullying proved to be a fruitful experience. The databases offered a good

variety of material and mostly peer-reviewed and credible sources. The Challenge I faced in the

process was to sieve through the numerous amounts of data in order to locate the most recent as

well as relevant researches. still, by entering the type of search terms and applying filters

including the publication date and whether it was a peer reviewed article, made a search much

more focused. The articles that I chose were from different databases, this way the factious bias

will not be overwhelming. In future, the improved research approaches include the use of

advance search options and particularly databases oriented on the subject area. On the same note,

regarding citation, I intend to utilize the citation features in the databases in generating the

references. All in all, this interaction has helped me in identifying specific sources of academic

materials.
