Ever since I met this group I knew Capri Curtis was going to be a perfect fit for
leadership. She takes pride in her open mind and interest in everyone's wellbeing. Capri has put
in a lot of time and effort in our group's project, she does this by coming up with a lot of ideas
and taking action in calling the organization to set up our donation stand. Other than being a
leader in our project she also is caring by investing her time in making sure each and every
person is in a good mindset. Basically, she is a very true friend to all of us. I say this because in
my personal experience, after one of our group meetings I was very stressed with school and
family issues. Capri took the time to invite me over and comfort me. With her help, I was able to
get back on track and relax for the first time in a very long time. I think that is a perfect
representation of a great leader, not just demanding and keeping order but also being a good peer
to feel comfortable around.
One role I believed we lacked was a recorder. It would have been highly beneficial if we
were to have someone who physically wrote down what we needed to do and check off as we
progressed. What we did was mentally and speak upon on things that we needed to do, but I
think it would have been more organized if we had written out notes to go off of. I'm not sure
what my peers in my small group think of this, but personally, I would rather have physical notes
in my hands, so I could overview everything I did and see how much there is to do to finish the
whole project, rather than taking it by sections.
Overall each member of the flying colors has shown leadership. We all have contributed a
lot of our time and hard work. Austin is our co-leader for our group. He knows a lot of
information that has helped us tremendously. For example, when we were looking for an
organization for our project Austin has had many experiences with different organizations, and
he was telling us all about the different options we had. In that aspect, Austin is very useful as a
leader. We chose Capri as our ultimate leader because Austin had many ideas and comments that
our group as a whole didn't agree on, most times. Other than that Capri and Austin have done a
great job in leading our group that seems to be in the right direction for a good grade. that seems
to be in the right direction for a good grade.
