Regression Paper: Age and the hours of sleep related?
Assertion:
There is no relationship between the hours of sleep a person gets and the age a person is.
Hypothesis:R=0
I took a group of 15 people between the ages 12-84, and took the number of hours they sleep in
2020 to test my hypothesis.
Correlation Analysis:
Age
Amount of
Sleep
Age 1
Amount of Sleep
0.4436717
9 1
According to the correlation analysis, r does not equal 0, r is equal to 0.44, meaning that there is
a relationship between the age and hours of sleep a person gets.

Since my hypothesis is r=0 then I will reject the hypothesis because the r does not equal
zero, it equals 0.44, meaning there is a relationship.
Relationship: As a person gets older the hour of sleep they get at night increases.
