Human Right of the World Comment by Roger N Reeb: Should be “Rights” (plural)

Introduction

Human right is a hot topic that needs strict attention as in this era of advancements still people have not been treated fairly. Somewhere some parts of the world represent the massive violation of human rights that makes the things much complicated for the well being as to maintain peace strict check on the human rights giving treatment is mandatory. This paper aims to highlight existing issues related to human rights as faced by the people all around the world. Regarding the human rights in the world, many people are not currently getting fair treatment due to their race, health situations and genders. Comment by Roger N Reeb: This is one word.

To represent this case, three different journal articles are obtained that are covering the topic of human rights considering different scenarios. The first article of this paper aims to highlight the cases of HIV and human rights violations that directly influence the access of patients to the health services and their community relations. Second is covering mental disorders and homeless people rights and third article covers the immigrants and their rights issue. Comment by Roger N Reeb: This INTRODUCTION has some merit. However, you do not explicitly state that you will be representing three different social sciences in your discussion, which is one major purpose of the writing assignment.

Background

The theory that is related to, this topic is the moral theory of human rights that depicts the people is entitled to benefit from their moral needs. The human rights shape human dignity, and these remain virtually universal regardless of any race, age, nationality, and gender. The people live in the community, and if they are given the equal rights and far treatment it brings peace and happiness. On the other side, complications occur in case the people are not provided with fair rights. In this way the human rights have been essential for the development and sustainability of people. This paper will be providing deeper analysis on the different dimension of human rights being covered in an effective manner. These rights needs to be maintained by a proper system through which the consistency and peace in between the different group of people is maintained that is the symbol of growth and development in the real sense. Comment by Roger N Reeb: This basically says that same thing as what you stated in the INTRODUCTION. This section should provide some background discussion of the issue, with citations. Since your paper is explicitly on the issue of human rights, you could have briefly discussed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and perhaps other human rights documents (links provided in syllabus).

Illustration a of the Topic

I will illustrate the topic of human rights through the three different journal articles, and each of the journal articles will be representing a distinctive social science issue.

Journal Article 1

A. HIV and Human Rights

I have observed an event in which a person who was suffering from HIV was treated discriminately in a hospital where several patients were there. Although that was a private hospital but the treatment that I have seen out there was not fair enough. The human rights violations are absolute and it affects the access of people to the healthcare services, community relationships, employment and the housing options. Therefore it is common as the people suffering from HIV do not have the same rights as the other ordinary people have. The people who are suffering from the chronic disease of HIV need to have the proper human rights so that they could get the health services that are satisfying their needs. Comment by Roger N Reeb: I distributed a handout with recommended headings and discussed it numerous times in class. By consulting the handout, you will see that this statement (or a more elaborate version of it) should be in the INTRODUCTION because it could explain why you selected the paper topic.

In this instance the rights as developed for HIV could help in getting the greater outcomes as if they are implemented and these could be replicated in the different countries so that effective human rights treatment system could be generated. The major solution to overcome this problem is to maintain strict check and balance over the implementation system and to identify the team through which the development in system is possible to provide equal right to people belonging to different age groups, race, genders, ethnicities and health conditions (Jürgens, 2010).

Journal Article 2:

B. Mental Disorders among the homeless

In Germany people who are isolated and homeless are increasing. The increasing homelessness and lack of sufficient resources is resulting in disturbing the mental conditions of people and they require treatment. Therefore the identification of the accurate conditions about the mental illness in the homeless is helping to improve the different structures to this vulnerable group. The thing that must be taken into consideration is the reason if increasing homeless. Most of the human being does not have equal human rights, and they are not given by the opportunity to manage an accurate residency, and this entire situation affects the mental conditions of the people up to a broader extent. In this instance to make the things better and to resolve the issues related to homeless people the things that should be taken into account is the proper management on the system (Fazel, 2008).

Journal Article 3

C. International Minority and Rights

Paper retraces the development of the international minority and their origins that is assured by the Nations League and United Nations. There needs to be a proper system through which the rights of the minority would be provided with which they could freely live in the country where they migrate to get some education. During past three decades the problems of illegal immigration and problems faced by international students have risen. People are homeless as they are not given by proper right being a migrant. At the time they come and receive educations in the different countries. It has been evaluated beyond any doubt that specifically those immigrants who come to get some education should be provided enough rights through which they could comfortably live and study in a country. They should be equipped with identity and convenience through which getting education becomes easy (Huber, 2009).

Integrative Summary

In this paper, I have been discussing the problem of the human right to the different people that is probably a hot topic these days. Considering the human rights of the world, it is evaluated that many people are not getting the fair treatment regarding their fundamental rights and it is all because of their gender, race, ethnicity, social identity, health conditions, and age. In this paper, the problem is discussed considering the dimension of social sciences that are a compliment to each other and all of these have been explaining the issue by disusing it with a distinctive boundary. Some ecological models are used to determine the complication developed by human rights conditions. Comment by Roger N Reeb: You only mention “ecological models” that are used. You needed to show how the ecological models (and/or other theoretical principles and concepts discussed in class) could be used to build an INTEGRATIVE SUMMARY regarding the three social science disciplines. Further, I do not believe that you really represented three different social science disciplines in your paper, and you do not even propose to do it in the INTRODUCTION, even though this was a main thrust of the assignment. As we discussed the paper numerous times in class, I also asked that students incorporate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in this INTEGRATIVE SUMMARY, but you did not do so.
