I found quite a few different things that were interesting regarding each of the four financial statements with Verizon Communications. The first thing I found interesting was that the balance at the end of 2018 for allowance for uncollectible accounts receivable has been the lowest it has been over the past couple years. I would be interested to learn how they were able to get the number so much less than the previous years and what strategies they used to to so. Another thing I found interesting was how much lower ( which is a large amount) the operating income for 2018 was compared to the previous 4 years prior. I found it interesting because it was a signifiant amount of difference between the years.

The information in those statements could be very useful to an investor and a manager because it gives them some great details about what has been going on financially with the company of the years and if it would be a good idea to invest or not looking at the information given to them. Those statements also lay everything out to them about what trends are happening with the company whether positive or negative that they should be aware of and perhaps take some action to fix any potential issue.
