You Try It Monroe’s Sequence
Attention: How many of you have family members or lovers that are incarcerated and are sick and tired of paying hundreds of dollars a month just to be able to speak to them on the phone! Now you have to pay to have on site video visits also, and you can’t even see them in person anymore.
Need: Let me explain the problem. Jails are putting way too much money in their pockets because they are having us pay payments for all calls, video chats and parking. Even if you’re not seeing your family members or loved one, you’d still have to pay for the regular visits. Jails are making us broke just to speak or to see to the inmates.
Solution: I have a solution! I feel as though if your loved ones or family members are in jail, you should be required to pay a small fee to talk to he/she on the phone because if you take time to think about it, not everyone makes a lot of money depending on the type of job they have. Therefore a small fee for calls or video chats should be low and acceptable. Then on the other hand, to see them in person, it should be free only because you’ve been paying for calls and video chats but not only that, they’ve been away for quite some time. I feel as though for the communities or individuals it’ll be easier for the outside patients to see their people because it’s not so expensive.
Visualization: If my solution were to happen, I feel as though some of us would accept the calls and visits to the jail because we don’t have to worry too much about our bank accounts going low to being able to keep putting money on our cards to keep answering calls and video chats from jail and paying visits. Although, if my solution were to not happen, I feel like some of us would still not make the attempt to speak or see our loved ones or family members because it’s costing too much money out of our pockets.
Action: You can help me in this specific action. Will you help me, please? You audience will have to take on my plan, meaning to accept or decline my decision in the solution step. Thank you!
