Would Approaching Overnutrition in healthcare as a Public Health Issue decrease rates of chronic in lower income areas in America?

Introduction

Understanding the relationship that exists between poverty and over nutrition is a necessity that explains the reasons behind the existence of obesity. The financial constrains brought about by poverty leads to the consumption of meals that lack important nutrients such as fats and carbohydrates. The practice affects the healthy living of most individuals leading to the creation of increased cases of overweight. Low-income communities within the country are most affected with such cases. Lack of proper nutrition has contributed to a poor lifestyle. The existence of chronic diseases among them continues to be a rising concern as most of them such as diabetes type 2, heart diseases and stroke. All of the three ailments are associated with the poor lifestyle that is mainly involved with over nutrition. Controlling the nutrition situation is likely to lead to the creation of lasting solutions to the ailments.
