Instructions:
You are taking a survey of what time of the year most people travel
1. Copy the following table into a new Excel spreadsheet. Be sure to keep the cell data the same.
2. Save the workbook as yourname_X4

3. At cell A5 enter the row title: Percent by Season
4. At cell F1 enter the column title: Average
5. At cell A7 enter the row title: Total Surveyed
6. At cell B7 enter the value: 850
7. Find the Average
a. Take it to 1 decimal point
8. Find the Percent by Season from those surveyed
a. DO NOT include the NEVER travel
b. Use an absolute cell reference to find your Percent by Season
9. Add a row above the table
10. Add the title (at cell A1): Vacation Survey
11. Center the title across the table
12. Center, Bold and make Italic the column titles
13. Make the row titles ITALIC
14. Use the AutoFit Option to fix the column widths
15. Change the Font, Font Size and Color of your Title
a. You Choose
16. Change the font, font size and color of table cells
a. You choose
17. Format the table to your liking.
18. Adjust column widths again
19. Center all of the data in cells
20. Change the name of the worksheet to Vacation Survey
21. Color the tab RED
22. Change the page orientation to Landscape
CONDITIONAL FORMAT
23. Use conditional format to on the Percent row
a. Make cell greater than 75% to use a Blue Background and Bold White letters
GRAPH
24. Create a Column Chart showing the percent who travel by season
25. Move the Graph to a new sheet
a. Call the sheet: Travelers
b. Color the tab RED
26. Re-order the tabs and place the chart after the table.
27. Enter your name, Student ID#, Date and Instructor Name underneath the table beginning on cell A10
28. Complete the Page Properties with your name, subject and Tags (use a minimum of 3)
29. Save and submit with exam
