Communicating with Target Population
Considering communicational tools among patient population, there constitute several effective ways of communicating with the population of concern. These tools ought to ensure an intended message is passed out in the most effective ways possible. According to an individual perspective, the three most effective ways of communication are open meetings, use of presentations and visuals. Open meetings are vital as they not only get word of what is being passed across but also get to know or become aware of via auditory sense. The use of presentations, on the other hand, relates to the act of presenting insights into sight or view. With the presentation, the patient population gets to grasp messages without question when sounds and pictures are involved. The use of presentations such as Microsoft PowerPoint enables effective communication and hence gives the opportunity for reference if the message is not clear on certain things. In addition, visuals provide a better comprehension of the message intended to communicate besides seeing and hearing during visiting hours.
Moreover, strategic planning among children under the age of thirteen within the community involves an efficacious approach used to address the cases among the neighborhood children experiencing several cases of dental and oral health-related problems, focusing resources and energy towards adjusting the dental and oral health. The program will ensure sensitization of both children and parents concerning oral hygiene and its worthwhile cause to their welfare if considered. Consequently, the course fundamentally aspires to promote the well-being of children confronted with dental and oral problems. And introducing the last series, the program is contrived to be made a reality through campaigning and providing important resources including oral medications public awareness posters to the community where campaigns set to be accommodated in community centers respectively (Rosdahl & Kowalski, 2008). In general, effective communication will ensure adept awareness in terms of acquisition of oral hygiene knowledge, crucial to the community at large.
