Family and friends have played important role in the support of the people suffering from mental health issues. Mental health patients require company and support from friends and family in order to help them control their mental health related disparities.
Background Information
Family and friends have been influential in supporting mental health patients in overcoming their mental disabilities and disorders. People suffering from mental health diseases require support and care from their relatives or friends (Wong, 2008). In this regard, support from families and friends has played important roles in the treatment and management of mental health problems among different mental health patients within the society. People suffering from mental health problems require close monitoring and support in performing their daily activities. Since their mental capacity cannot perform the normal human being activities, friends and family member act as the guide and support in ensuring that such patient live comfortably without any disturbance and inconvenience resulting from the mental disorders or problems.
Problem Statement
Mental health patients have lacked support from friends and families. In most cases, people with patients suffering from mental health problems have neglected and hidden such patients. In this context, support from friends and family has been limited. Avoidance of mental health problem has been associated with the stigma and negative attitude towards the mental health patients. In this extent, people should take the role in supporting mental health patients and aid them to realize the importance of living despite their mental health disabilities.
The society has failed in supporting patients suffering from mental health problems. Friends and family form the important elements in supporting people suffering from mental health issues. In this context, family and friends need to support those suffering from mental health disorders and enable them to lead a life that is socially equitable and responsible to the society.

Hypothesis
H0: Family and friends have been the most important components in supporting the life of people suffering from mental health problems.
Thesis Statement
This purpose of this study to investigate how people suffering from mental health issues have shown improvements due to the support that such people get from family and friends.
