Should Electric Cars Replace fossil fuel Cars?

The most important difference among electric and diesel autos is electric vehicles could help to save more money compared to the fossil fuel car in the long term “electric vehicles can save $750 to $1,200 a year on fueling compared to a fossil fuel vehicle averaging 27 miles per gallon with gas costing $3.50 per gallon. While driving electric is cheaper than driving with gas, the actual amount of savings depends on local utility rates and rate plans, such as those that offer cheaper rates at night [6]. yet shockingly, these vehicles are more cost-effective a while later in light of a more reliable energy source [2]. Moreover, Diesel vehicles keep running on petroleum fuels which are limited on this planet, consequently costly, while electric autos use solar panels or hydrogen fuel or power as their essential fuel, which is unlimitedly accessible on this planet henceforth makes them naturally less expensive than diesel. A 2018 study from the University of Michigan's Transportation Research Institute found that electric vehicles cost less than half as much to operate as gas-powered cars. The average cost to operate an EV in the United States is $485 per year, while the average for a gasoline-powered vehicle is $1,117 [6].

Furthermore, diesel vehicles keep running on diesel, so as an output these autos produce smoke, and this smoke which contains unsafe substances negatively affects the world's environment, these gases increase the CO2 level in the environment, which accounts for global warming and rise in global temperature. Pollutants from cars contribute to various types of air pollution. When hydrocarbons and NOx combine in sunlight, they produce ozone. High in the atmosphere, ozone protects us from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. When holes in the atmosphere's ozone layer allows ozone to come closer to Earth, it contributes to smog and causes respiratory problems. Air pollutants emitted from cars are believed to cause cancer and contribute to such problems as asthma, heart disease, birth defects and eye irritation Emissions from cars increase the levels of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere [5].

Whereas an electric vehicle is more environmentally friendly than diesel autos, E-autos don't emit climate-damaging greenhouse gases or health-harming nitrogen oxide. They're quiet and easy to operate. Electric vehicles appear to have a lot of benefits over autos that keep running on gasoline or diesel" [2]; less smoke, less combustion; this is the primary contrast among electric and diesel vehicles.

Another important benefits we could get from the electric cars is that it will open the door for new innviations. For example instead of charging the car using a cable, we could put wirless charing parking lots. A number of charging innovations are in the works, too, such as wireless charging pads in parking lots, wireless charging under roadways and solar roofs. And the more renewable energy that’s available on the grid, the cleaner EVs will get. Solar and wind, which now generate about 10 percent of power in the U.S., continue to get cheaper and more efficient. In addition, as batteries improve, wind and solar power are becoming more reliable [4]

Electric cars have low maintenance requirements. With fewer moving parts, there are not many things to break or that need fixing on an electric car. This will save you a lot of time and money over the years: no more having to rent a car while yours is being serviced, no more oil changes, no more failed transmissions. Your mechanic might get a little lonely, but so it goes. You’ll still have brakes to maintain, though they will last much longer than they do on a gas-powered vehicle. Your biggest issue may be having to change out your battery, but most models today come with an 8-year/100K mile warranty. Batteries can last up to 15 years in a mild climate, and anyway you toss it, that’s pretty good value [3]. There will be a bad impact on this world if we do not make any actions. The rate of atmospheric pollution would continue to increase hence endangering the existence of every living thing on the planet.
