Everybody has one or more ambitions about the kind of person they want to be. In most cases, our dreams and goals in life are shaped by the environments we are exposed to from an early age. The type of challenges faced from an early age influence people to adopt a particular perspective of life. Similarly, the type of opportunities presented to an individual at a young age influence them to develop an interest in specific activities. People dedicate their professions in tackling the challenges that they faced in their early life. For instance, Kaerpernick uses his football career to create awareness about social injustices, such as racial profiling (Schmidt et al. 655). Many people are educated, yet they can barely promote social welfare. As per Martin Luther King Jr, the primary goal of true education is to "inculcate intelligence and character."

People should use their abilities and skills to promote their welfare and that of others within the community. In my case, I desire to be mind-blowingly good at professional acting and film production. There are many forms of acting and film production; however, they all entertain and educate the masses. The main reason why I admire being good at professional acting and film production is that it would enable me to use my creativity. My interest in acting and film production has gradually developed from an early age. I have watched many films throughout my life, including Charlie Chaplin's silent films. While many people watch movies to be entertained, I often find myself evaluating the creativity employed by each character.

Developing mastery of acting and film production as a career would benefit not only me but also my community. Actors attract a huge following and can easily influence people's actions. In modern-day society, the average person spends about 5 hours watching TV daily; this is a significant amount of time that can be used to create awareness about particular topics relevant to society. The most significant values that I see in the film industry is passion and dedication. Developing mastery in acting time and requires persistence; these are the two most lacking young people. I am confident that the process of becoming a professional actor would enable me to learn and appreciate the importance of patience and persistence.

Professionals in various activities utilize their popularity to attract attention to problems in their communities. Kaerpernick uses his professional life as a platform to challenge vices, such as racism and bigotry (Schmidt et al. 655). In my case, becoming a professional actor or film producer would enable me to create awareness about social problems that are often overlooked. For instance, homeless people barely have access to reliable healthcare services despite being exposed to many healthcare risks. As an actor, I would have an effective platform to highlight the plight of homeless families to the populace. Also, research indicates that many youths lack role models to guide them as they step into adulthood. Youths make up the largest audience of films in the country. As such, an actor can use their profession to point youthful persons in the right directions they grow into adults.

In conclusion, developing the skills and mastery of professional acting would a “dream come to true” in my life. I desire to be mind-blowingly good at acting because it would enhance my creativity. Learning how to be an actor would strengthen my ability to reach multitudes of people simultaneously as Kaerpernick does. I would also be able to serve as a role model to many youths in my community.
