Before working on the assignment, review the ISTE website listed in Module 1. Look at the standards that are listed [students, teachers, coaches, administrators] and see how they are similar and different.  The ISTE standards were developed over time by educators working to incorporate technology into the curriculum. For this assignment, you will focus on the ISTE Standards for Administrators. Observe the administrator(s) at your school to determine how they may or may not be meeting these standards in their daily routines.

Discuss in one introductory paragraph how these standards can affect administrative activities.  Include the following information in the body of your assignment:

·  Rate your administrators on the ISTE Administrative Standards.

·  Identify one (1) standard they are meeting and why.

·  Identify one (1) standard they are not meeting and why.

Answer the following questions based on research and your observation

·  Should administrators be held accountable for demonstrating these competencies? Why?

·  Will these standards change what happens in the classrooms? How?

·  Student performance is a major focus of an administrator. Which of these standards can be a guide to improvement in student performance?

·  As an administrator, which of these standards can be used to support professional development for both administrators and faculty?

You will have two weeks to complete this assignment. High-quality writing and information should be used in the assignment.

Your written assignment needs a title page, narrative text body, and a reference page. Be sure you have at least three (3) references for this assignment.
