Written Report: Background Section Scheduled Task
Scheduled Tasks are assignments based on parts of the Written Report (e.g., Background, Data, Analysis, etc). The grade is based on the submission of the required Written Report section and the submission including ALL of the check list items for the section (see D2L Content for checklist file). More than the quality of the submission, it is based on the submission being timely and content being complete. Scheduled Tasks will NOT be accepted late or outside of D2L.
History, Operations, Processes. (500-800 words) This is where the reader is introduced to the specific data analyzed to evaluate, compare and contrast, as well as assess impact and develop recommendations. Provide factual data describing voice and power for the selected areas from the perspective of (point of view):

Provide data for both Georgia and the federal government. For example, for Roots of the Federal Judiciary this could include how different voices (views) were allowed to be presented in trial, appellate, and/or supreme courts. Perhaps a connection can be made with the one or more justices appointed from Georgia throughout history. With respect to power it could include states’ rights issues, such as those involving the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (e.g., Heart of Atlanta Hotel).
