o Must be incorporated into your formal proposal using correct in-text citations that correspond with the first piece of information on your Works Cited.
DESCRIPTION: In your final project, you will apply the skills you’ve acquired throughout the semester as you propose ONE practical, implementable solution for the local problem you’ve been studying. Your aim is to make an argument that calls an audience to action. You’ll make a claim that some action should or ought to be taken, and then you’ll offer your single solution to the problem you’ve been researching.
FORMAL PROPOSAL STRUCTURE: Your Proposal to Solve a Problem Writing Project should follow the Framework in Fig. 14.2, pg. 364 in your Allyn & Bacon textbook and include the following five parts:
1. Introduction 2. Presentation of the proposed solution 3. Justification 4. Summary and rebuttal of opposing views (Follow the Practical Proposal bullet points) 5. Conclusion
